It's a sweet anime about a girl who unknowingly saves a familiar of a Goddess at her local shrine and because of that, she's granted the power of shapeshifting. She and the Goddess become good friends and spend a lot of time together. The goddess is also an otaku who lazes around and plays games in her little shrine but not to the extent of the goddess in this show lol

Man... why is this show so wholesome? Elda is a huge lovable dork that deserves all the hugs and head pats, and I love that this anime is pretty much about her breaking the shell with the help of her friends, very soul cleansing in my opinion!

That's a LOT of coming and going in 400 years. Oh, did I mention Tokyo Bay getting smaller and smaller because of land reclamation? Heck, Tsukishima is one of those places built out of reclamation.
